The PCU-1 is a piggyback system that is added to the existing engine management system. It makes the existing system tunable without have to make chip changes and without touching the ECU. An available shorting strap will quickly revert the vehicle back to its standard operation. The PCU-1 allows any engine to be tuned by modifying signals found within the units. Windows software lets the professional or enthusiast use either a 2D or 3D map. Tuning is done in real time with the car running and tune maps can be easily changed. Installation and tuning of the PCU-1 is simple and quick. A professional can install and tune the PCU-1 in about 30 minutes.
