Use DEI heat shielding to protect your investment!

DEI is offering heat shielding in a sleeve style to conveniently protect your wires and hoses. Just slip the sheath over whatever you need to protect and be on your way!

DEI Fire Sleeve and Tape Kit is the ideal in protecting against intense under hood heat making it the perfect solution for protecting hoses, oil and fuel lines and electrical wiring. Constructed of a woven fiberglass braided sleeve heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber is capable of withstanding temperatures 500 degrees F continuous and up to 2000 degrees F intermittent.

Heat Sheath is made from a Hi-Temp fiberglass fabric bonded to an aluminized material then sewn into a tube. Designed to slide over wires and hoses this product can be easily shaped to fit the tightest bends. The Heat Sheath will reflect up to 90% of the radiant heat and can insulate against up to 500 degrees direct continuous heat. Easily cut to length with scissors or a sharp knife.

Heat Shroud is made from the same laminated material and offers the same great benefits as the Heat Sheath only adds the convenience of hook & loop closure. Easily install on wires or hoses that can not be easily removed.


An evolution from the original Cool-Tube that offers much more. More heat protection, up to 750 degrees. More flexibility, comes un-slit but can be easily slit to install on existing hoses or wires without removal.
