The best air flow in any race car for an oil cooler is in front of the radiator. With that in mind, the Engineers at FLUIDYNE have designed an air-to-oil cooler which has an air fin density which maximizes oil cooling but does not block the air flow through the radiator. Designed originally for General Motors on the ZR-1 Corvette, the ULTRA-LITE has an all-aluminum tube and fin design and incorporates a patented turbulator to maximize thermal efficiency. The unit is designed to fit directly in front of the core face of your 22", 26", 28", or 31" radiator. This 4 pound cooler can be mounted directly to your radiator (mounts included) and will utilize the same air ducting provided for the radiator. All ZR-1 Coolers come with two AN-12's and two 1/2" NPT's.
