HKS Hipermax Performer Coilovers
Advanced suspension technology with adjustable lower collar type suspension that was developed for HIPERMAX D', which is now succeeded to "HIPERMAX Performer" for street driving. HIPERMAX Performer is the high performance product that is very comfortable to drive with large diameter piston and it enables to set at cool ride height with adjustable lower collar.
Adjustable lower collar type for cool ride height.
Adjustable lower collars enable wide range of ride height adjustment from stock height for street driving to low down style. Suspension stroke is not affected by ride height.
Setting for street driving.
Spring rate and damping force setting is for street driving. It is comfortable to ride in on street.
Damping force can be set for 30 steps.
Damping force can be set for 30 steps with adjusting knob so that damper setting can fit to various situations from street to sport driving.
Single tube, large diameter piston.
Single tube free piston divides gas and oil completely. Since air does not stay in oil like twin tube damper, the damping force is stable. Large diameter piston enables quick valve response and stable damping force from low piston speed.
It can be overhauled and specification changed like other HKS suspension products.
Important Note: If ride height is set too low, tires might hit to car body or any other parts.
