HorsepowerFreaks Fuel Pump Rewire Kits
High-Flow In-tank pumps and external pumps create a huge demand on the electrical system. They often cannot simply be wired from the existing stock wires or the electrical system will degrade and problems due to fluctuating voltages and hot wires occur. Wiring 2 pumps through the stock wiring is asking for disaster.
As one high-flow pump is wired through the stock electrical system, voltage drop due to the smaller wires will also cause a pressure drop in fuel. With two high-flow pumps, the demand increases dramatically, and a significant pressure drop and melted wires will probably occur.
We have 2 separate kits for re-wiring the fuel pumps so that they do not interfere with any other electronics in the car, and will allow for the most voltage possible.
The kit for one pump includes 10 gauge wire, a relay, all of the connectors, fuse holder and a 30amp fuse for protection. The kit for 2 pumps includes 8 gauge wire, 2 relays, all of the connectors and a monster 60amp fuse holder and 40amp fuse. Both kits include complete wiring instructions.
